My second product is a seven-page short story about a girl named Camila who is separated from her family and adopted into a new life in the United States, focusing on her emotional experience and struggle to adjust. I created it using a first-person perspective, vivid imagery, and personal details to make her voice feel realistic and impactful, while also incorporating Spanish and symbolism to show her connection to her past. This connects to my research paper by providing a more personal, emotional perspective on the topic, turning the real-world issues into a creative and emotional story that shows what those experiences feel like.
