Senior Capstone:
International and Transracial Adoptions
My topic for my multi-genre research project is transracial and international adoptions. I want to explore how adoption across racial, ethnic, and national lines reflect global inequalities, cultural exchange, and postcolonial dynamics. I specifically aim to investigate why families pursue transracial and international adoption, how adoptees experience identity and belonging in multicultural contexts, and how global systems shape these adoptions.
